Campsie police visit 👩✈️
The children had a special guest from Campsie Police Station today. An officer visited LLC to educate our little learners about community helpers. She asked the children “how did you know that I am a police?” Freya replied that she has the police clothes on! Aria replied that she has Walkie Talkie with her! Children took turns wearing the police dress and hat! Later the officer gave stamps to all children. Children demonstrated their knowledge and understanding of community helpers and how to identify them. They also displayed their knowledge of how police officers are being helpful to the community! 🚓
To extend our children’s interest in growing tomatoes, taking care of the plants, watering the plants finally reaping the tomatoes from our garden. Today we tried to cook the tomato pizza.
The children volunteered to cut the tomatoes with all precautions. Ms Frankline helped them to hold the knife, as the children cut the tomatoes into two half, they spread the cheese on the bread and Tomatoes. Later they took them to the kitchen to Ms Amy to put the tray in the oven. After we cooked the pizza we tried to eat then for lunch. Children demonstrated their love and care to nature, healthy eating practices. 🍒
